How Eduyro works, day to day
Four steps to set up, then one packet a day, done online.
- 1
Add your child
On your dashboard press "Add your first child". You choose a username and password for them. Adding the first child opens secure checkout for the 7-day free trial (card required, nothing charged until the trial ends).
- 2
Hand them the login
Your child signs in at eduyro.com with that username and password, on their own device or after you sign out. Their first screen is a placement test of about 15 minutes that finds the right starting level. The test lives in the child's login, not yours.
- 3
Do today's work
Each day your child signs in and does today's packet on screen, about three sheets, graded the moment they finish. Only when they cannot be online (no device, travelling) press "Print today's packet" on your dashboard, let them work on paper, then enter how many they got right under "Record Paper Work".
- 4
Watch the lesson advance
When the day's average reaches the mastery bar (90% on most levels), the next lesson unlocks. Below it, the same lesson repeats tomorrow. Repeat days are normal; they are how mastery is built.
Questions parents ask
Where is the placement test? I cannot find it on my dashboard.
It is in your child's login, not yours. Sign out, then sign in with the username and password you created for your child (or open eduyro.com on their device). Their first screen is the test. Once they finish, your dashboard changes from "Not placed" to their level.
How does my child sign in?
At eduyro.com/signin with the username you chose when you added them and the password you set. No email address is needed for a child. If they forget the password, open Parent Controls on your dashboard and set a new one.
What do we do each day?
Your child signs in and does today's packet on screen: about three sheets, 15 to 20 minutes for most children, graded the moment they finish. Nothing for you to mark. Your dashboard shows the result the same day.
What is the mastery bar, and why did the same lesson come back?
Each level has a bar, 90% on most. When the average across the day's sheets reaches it, the next lesson unlocks. Below it, the same lesson repeats the next day. That is the method working, not a fault: a child who has not yet reached 90% is not ready for the next step, and one more day on the same skill is what gets them there.
When should we print instead?
Only when your child cannot be online: no device free, a long car ride, a week at the grandparents. Press "Print today's packet" on your dashboard, let them work on paper, then open "Record Paper Work" and enter how many answers were right on each sheet. That score counts exactly like on-screen work.
Going away? Can I print ahead?
Yes. On your dashboard press "Print upcoming (vacation)" and choose how many days. The work continues from where your child is now, and you enter the scores when you are back.
What does it cost, and when am I charged?
Adding your first child starts a 7-day free trial. A card is taken at that point but nothing is charged until the trial ends; then Premium is US$9.99 a month for the first child and US$5.99 a month for each additional child. Cancel any time from the Subscription section of your dashboard. Prices are in US dollars.
I never received the verification email.
Check your spam folder first. The link is valid for 3 days. On the sign-in page there is a "Resend verification" link that sends a fresh one. If nothing arrives, email support@eduyro.com from the address you registered with.
Can I add more than one child?
Yes. Each child gets their own username, their own placement test and their own level. Use "+ Add child" in the left column of your dashboard. Additional children are added to your existing subscription without a new trial.
What about reading, writing and science?
Open the Subjects section on your dashboard to switch a subject on for your child. Each subject has its own placement test, taken from the child's login, and its own daily sheets.
Something looks wrong on a worksheet.
Every page of your dashboard has a "Report a problem" button. Tell us the sheet title and what you saw; the sheet's own identifier comes with the report so we can reproduce it exactly.
